Rental Terms

These Rental Terms ("Terms") govern all jewelry rentals from Yael Alexander ("we," "us"). By placing a reservation, you agree to these Terms.

Reservations & Payment

A reservation is confirmed once payment is completed at checkout. Your rental is reserved for your selected event date; the piece arrives 2–3 days before your event and must be shipped back using the prepaid return label no later than 3 days after your event date. Rental fees are charged in full at booking. Applicable sales tax is added at checkout.

Cancellations

• 14 or more days before your event date: full refund.
• 7–13 days before your event date: 50% refund.
• Fewer than 7 days before your event date: no refund.

Date changes are treated as a cancellation and rebooking, subject to availability and the schedule above.

Care of the Jewelry

Each piece is professionally cleaned and inspected before every rental. Please treat it with care: avoid contact with perfume, lotions, chlorine and household chemicals; do not resize, repair or alter any piece; store it in the provided presentation box when not worn.

Late Returns

If the piece is not postmarked for return within 3 days after your event date, a late fee of 20% of the rental fee applies for each additional day, up to the full replacement value of the piece.

Damage & Loss

You are responsible for the jewelry from delivery until it is scanned for return shipping. Minor wear is expected and covered by us. In case of damage beyond normal wear, loss, or theft, you are responsible for repair costs or up to the full replacement value of the piece, as assessed by us. Items are fully insured while in transit with our provided shipping labels.

Shipping

We ship fully insured with signature required, within the United States. Return shipping is prepaid — simply use the included label and drop the package at the carrier. Do not use a different carrier or label; items returned outside our insured labels are your responsibility until received.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and provide accurate billing and shipping information. We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion with a full refund.

General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any piece; all jewelry remains our property at all times. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these Terms; the version posted at the time of your reservation applies to your rental.
